Dictador and Penderyn Distillery Collaborate on the Latest 2 Masters Release

The world of luxury spirits welcomes the new release of the 2 Masters project in collaboration with Penderyn Distillery.

Within the 2 Masters project, Dictador rum is passed to other Master Blenders, who age it in casks previously used to store their own alcohol: whisky, brandy, champagne, and more. This procedure creates tasting notes that have never been known before, opening up a brand-new dimension of flavour.

The collaboration with Penderyn marks the 12th partnership within the 2 Masters collection. Colombian-aged rum was finished in Welsh whisky casks, delivering 2 vintages: 1991 and 2000.

The 1991 Vintage was distilled in 1991, then aged at Penderyn Distillery in Peated Quarter Casks for 16 months. The exclusive release consists of only 413 bottles.

The 2000 vintage, distilled in 2000, spent 16 months maturing in PX-Sherry Casks. Even more limited than the other vintage, this release provides 375 bottles.
